Goals:

Increase awareness participation and involvement in Concerned Citizens of Clallam County / FourC as an accepted force of information and political influence on the North Peninsula.

Work to increase knowledge in schools and the general public of founders' intents for the Constitution and its accumulated defects and distortions over the years.

Work to elect National, State and Local conservative candidates in 2010, who support our issues and goals.

Short Term Strategies

General Strategy:

Find opportunities to continually expose FourC to the general public through participation in rallies, meetings, festivals and other events where FourC will become known.

The importance of reaching the young in high school and college cannot be overestimated but we will also reach out to the veterans, ethnic and the retired communities and to those needing jobs.

Election Strategies:

We will individually go door-to-door as well as provide funds for these candidates during election campaigns. We will provide forums for candidates so that member patriots can evaluate them directly.

We will give FourC patriots the tools to use in order to:

  • Promote FourC
  • Expose and counter issues that are attacking our freedoms in both the State and National arenas.
  • Promote the candidates that espouse our values.
  • Provide common sense approaches to explaining our positions to neighbors, friends and family.
  • Invite candidates to forums/debates to give FourC patriots the opportunity to determine the appropriate candidates.

Strategies to be Avoided

We disagree with and disavow negative campaigning. In particular it is counter productive to attack President Obama personally for it is his socialistic policies that we oppose. Many democrats who hold President Obama's intelligence in high regard will increasingly join our ranks in opposition to his policies.

Expanding the Effort

The primary means of expanding, popularizing, and affecting the political situation will be:

  1. Sponsor rallies, meetings and educational symposiums
  2. Encourage individual Patriots to canvas neighborhoods and districts promoting conservative candidates that espouse FourC principles and values.
  3. Write letters, emails and Faxes to incumbents informing them of our satisfaction - or dissatisfaction - with their voting record.
  4. Use social networking sites like twitter, Facebook and blogs.  Set-up links pointing to FourC or participate  in  social networking with potential participants.
  5. Maintain cooperation and communication with other Tea Party groups in Washington State
  6. Maintain cooperation and communication with State Tea Party organizations, making certain FourC events are listed on their calendars.
  7. Reach out to the youth in our community by having FourC Patriots become involved in their activities, i.e.: YMCA Youth & Government, ROTC programs, Young Republicans, Boys & Girls Club, etc. Make certain these young people are learning, or have learned, the important historical lessons of our country.
  8. Identify organizations that attract young adults. Encourage FourC Patriots to be involved with them as advisers, mentors and educators making certain they are aware of conservative history and values.
  9. Cooperate and coordinate with other local “like minded” groups by informing Patriots of their activities.   Inform these groups of FourC activities for their involvement. Co-op with these groups important venues such as candidate forums and debates.
